Background

Rich Wine Heritage

Insights & Challenges

Grow Online Sales

While Simonsig has a strong presence in stores and in the export market, it has struggled to make a mark and sell its wines through its own website. The challenge was to build a website and online shop that was both elegant and user friendly. The promoting and runs of lockdown specials and flash sales has help to boost sales dramatically and convert visitors into online sales.

UI / UX Design

The UI design process help to unpack the brand values and develop a look and feel that matched the timeless elegance of the Simonsig brand. This is evident in the brand colours and the clean UI design elements on the website.

The UI design conveys a sense of heritage, but at the same time the modern, timelessness of the Simonsig brand. The online shop UX design is clean and functional and offers a greatly improved online shopping experience.

Web & Ecommerce Development

Ecommerce at its best

Webworx developed a custom WordPress theme and style sheet for the website. We then developed an online shop using Woocommerce, we integrated online payment gateways and implemented table rate shipping.
